Estimated Costs Of Grass Cutting.

These are based on a quote from Eddie Fox Grass Cutting.

Eddie has said that he used to do around 16 cuts a year.  As we are trying to manage costs and also as it is so far into the grass growing season already I am hoping to limit this to 10/12 cuts.

So based on 10 cuts:

1st Cutting Estimated at ~500 Euro                ->  €500
9 Subsequent Cuts @170 Each.                      ->  €1530
                                                                                    ----------
Minimum Total Cost (Excluding VAT)     ->  €2030
                                                                                   274

As Dun Ri only has one Grass area adjacent to it, Dun Ri residents are only asked to pay 50% of the costs that Caislean Oir residents are.

There are 55 dwellings in Dun Ri and  72 in Caislean Oir.

We are also going to factor in that I will not be able to get money off 15% of residents.  Hopefully that's not too optimistic.

So with the above factored in (and some rounding) the costs per household are as follows:

Dun Ri Houses : 15 Each
(55 x 12.50 = 687.5)

Caislean Oir Houses : €30 Each
(72 x 25 = 1800)

We will keep this money in an account and will publish the balance and payments made from this account on this website.

We plan to collect the money twice over the summer but obviously the more we can collect on the first run the easier it is to manage.
